How to Join Venture Crew 149

Joining Requirements:

If you think that you'd like to join Crew 149, please come to a meeting to see if you like it or not. If you decide that you do like what you see, then you should talk to the Crew President about joining.

To become a Venturer you must be young man or woman 14-20 years of age.
Submit a completed Venturer application and health history signed by your parent or guardian.
Understand and agree to live by the: The Venturing Oath, The Venturing Code, and The Outdoor Code

The Crew Advisor should give you the Venturer application and health history forms at your first meeting, as well as a permission slip, and information form. The Crew Advisor will go in to more detail with the application when you talk to him. We also expect parents to be involved with the Crew in some way, at minimum as a Crew Committee member.

What You Need:

There are several things that you'll need as a Venturer. First of all is your uniform. This consists on several parts:

Scout Field Uniform (Class A) shirt or blouse with council patch, troop numbers, position patch (if you are in a leadership position) and green epaulettes on it.
Kakhi shorts or pants
Crew 149 Activity (Class B) shirt (purchase from Crew)
